Over 27 years ago, I was a young man with lots of exciting challenges before me.  My father, uncles, and brother were electricians, and I leaned in that direction also.  I took the rigorous tests that landed me in the Electrical Union in California.  That was the start of my long career.  That year, I also married my High School sweetheart, Gloria.  We have been happily married for 26 years and were blessed with 9 children. Needless to say, I learned quickly about hard work and supporting my family. 

After graduating from the Electrical Apprenticeship Program, I began the dream of having my very own company.  I started with our little Toyota sedan and a ladder sticking out of the window.  Those were humble beginnings.  I found out fast that customers were interested in a good deal with an honest person.  That was the theme of my career then, as it is now.  Later, in 1992, we moved our business to Orem, Utah. 
In 21 years of electrical contracting, I never grow tired of the challenges that it brings.  Trying to figure out electrical problems was a challenge that always intrigued me.

I am no longer the contractor with the Toyota sedan and the ladder out the back window.  I founded Captain Electric with the idea in mind that I would revolutionize the electrical industry.  I was able to identify the problems that customers were having with contractors, and to my surprise I found a lot of complaints that are easily remedied with a little care and concern.
